Sadegh Seddighi is a full professor in Balanced Energy Systems at HAN University in the Netherlands. Previously, he served as Vice-Chancellor for Research and International Affairs and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on thermal-fluid sciences. Sadegh has collaborated with companies like Valmet Power Oy, Metso in Finland, and Fortum in Sweden, managing various industrial projects across Europe and Asia. He has also contributed to energy diversification efforts with the International Energy Agency (IEA). Sadegh has held roles as a project manager, designer, mechanical engineer, modeler, and programmer. He earned his Ph.D. in Energy and Environment from Chalmers University of Technology and his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
